Pre-surgery consultation
2 weeks check-up post-surgery
Referrals to resident allied health care practitioners post-surgery such as dieticians, physiotherapists, pathologists, radiologists, physicians and psychologists
Medication prescription when necessary

A typical appointment may include:

Physical examination.
Diagnosis of your illnesses and possible booking for surgery.
Advise on your condition as well as education about your condition.
Refer to allied healthcare practitioners when necessary.

Most medical aids require an authorisation number or a letter of authorisation from your general practitioner (GP) in order to cover costs for the specialist consultation. Please visit your GP prior to your visit with Dr Nyembe, if your medical aid requires you to do so.

BOOKINGS:

Bookings are made on a General Practitioner’s referral basis unless it is an emergency.
Please note that consultations are only available by appointment. Unscheduled consultations will be billed at an extra cost (scheme rate).
